Connecting the World Through Movies

“What we do today can bring the world together!”
This project comes straight from my heart and was launched on 11th March 2022.
“I would like to share my feelings with people worldwide that everyone is important, and I would like to create a place where we can all feel a connection!”
In an attempt to reach people across the world, screenings were held in different countries. These movies were in Japanese, with subtitles in Chinese, English and French.
Many of us remember when the Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami hit Japan on 11th March 2011. This date is now commemorated as a memorial day to show appreciation for the importance of life.
I am offering up to 10,000 people per language an opportunity to view the movies as a "gift" from me in order to bring light to the world.
I am delighted to share these movies with you all, and hope that they bring as much inspiration to you as it has given me producing them.
I hope they reach you all.

Why are people imperfect?
A documentary film centered on Matsumoto Yamamoto, a teacher at a special-needs school, unfolding the true importance of life.
A debut film for Fumiko Irie.
First released in 2007, it has spread across 18 different countries around the world.
The Miracle of the Colored Light

**Screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival**
Second released film directed by Fumiko Irie. Noriko Terada, a color therapist, and Shisui Teshigawara, a healing artist, were working hard in hopes of bringing joy to many people’s lives.
Suddenly, Noriko loses her right eye from a disease, and receives a life expectancy sentence. A film focusing on the true meaning of life, despite how fragile it can be, and how these two managed to get through and live a fulfilling life.

〜 What it means to overcome yourself 〜
A film about a devastated boy who lost both of his hands due to an accident, meeting Junkyo Oishi, who had also lost both hands. He would eventually find his way because of Junyo’s saying “Even if I could be born again, I would still want to be myself without both my hands”
